Milan, 7 June (LaPresse) – Turnout at midday in the run-off votes for Italy’s local elections stands at 13.49%. The figure covers 1,192 polling stations out of a total of 1,212. In the first round, at the same time, 15.32% of eligible voters had cast their ballots. This is according to the Interior Ministry’s Eligendo website. Six provincial capitals are involved among the municipalities holding elections: Lecco, Arezzo, Macerata, Chieti, Trani and Agrigento. In total, the election involves over 1.13 million voters.
