Antibes (France), 25 June (LaPresse) – Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni arrived at the Musée Picasso in Antibes for a joint visit with the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, also attended by the two countries’ Ministers of Culture, Alessandro Giuli and Catherine Pégard. The President of the Republic, in welcoming the Prime Minister – whom he greeted with two kisses on the cheeks, hugging her and even holding her hand – joked: “Giorgia, it’s been a long time (how long, ed.)”. Meloni and Macron attended the E5 summit in Berlin yesterday and, in recent days, first the G7 summit in Evian and then the European Council in Brussels. Following this first stop in Antibes, the two leaders will travel to Villa Eilenroc for the intergovernmental summit, which will begin with a bilateral meeting.
