Electoral law, Arianna Meloni: “Shameful celebration by the Left, as if they’d won the World Cup”

The Left celebrating as if they’d won the World Cup after rejecting Giorgia Meloni’s proposal to restore Italians’ right to choose who to send to Parliament. They’re disgraceful.” So said Arianna Meloni, head of Membership and Political Secretariat at Fratelli d’Italia, on Instagram, where she posted a photo showing the outburst of joy amongst the opposition benches in the Chamber of Deputies yesterday following the rejection of the amendment on preferential voting, in which, amongst others, the secretary of the PD, Elly Schlein, can be seen.
