Rome, 15 July (LaPresse) – Opposition to the majority’s amendment on students living away from home. The Five Star Movement is set to vote in favour, with its leader Giuseppe Conte emphasising that “expanding participation as much as possible and extending the sacrosanct right to vote has been our cause from the very beginning”. The AVS is also on the same page, and the PD is leaning towards a ‘yes’ vote too; to confirm the centre-left’s unified stance on the text, it is merely waiting to see the Committee of Nine’s revised proposal.
