Electoral law, Conte: “Designed to bolt people into their seats, moving from stability to irremovability”

Rome, 16 July (LaPresse) – “This law is designed to bolt you to your seats and to hand even more power back to the leader. It is a fraudulent law, and the agreement you have reached as the majority is deceitful because Italians have no power to choose their own representatives.” So said M5S leader Giuseppe Conte, speaking in the Chamber during the final vote on the electoral law. “It is designed to move from stability to irremovability,” he added.
