Milan, 16 July (LaPresse) – “I expect justice to be Justice with a capital ‘J’, not like the sort that yesterday sent a 72-year-old man to prison – a man who has worked all his life and who defended himself, his wife and his daughter against robbers. So, to me, that is not justice, and I expect the entire centre-right to champion the call for a pardon for Mario Roggero because, after a lifetime of work, spending years in prison at the age of 72, after being attacked and robbed, I do not think is right.” This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the Lega, Matteo Salvini, whilst speaking to reporters in Bari.
