Rome, 18 July (LaPresse) – “The concept is simple: if I am in my own home, or if I am out on the street and someone attacks me, my defence must always be legitimate.” So said Roberto Vannacci, leader of Futuro Nazionale, speaking from Viareggio (Lucca) on the sidelines of a meeting. “Because the assessment of that state of distress, of that perception of danger which I, as a victim of crime, feel, must be taken into account,” he added. “This therefore extends the scope of self-defence to areas close to where the crime took place. So today, the Roggero case would already have been resolved.”
