Centre-left alliance, Schlein to Conte: “It doesn’t work like this, first the programme then the primaries”

First the programme shared by the entire alliance and then the primaries, because whoever wins them must lead the whole coalition, not just their own party.” Elly Schlein said this in response to a Tg3 journalist who asked her to comment on the words of the M5S leader. “But now let’s not get lost in discussions among ourselves,” the Democratic Party leader added, “let’s focus on the failures of this government and on our concrete proposals, such as the one we all signed on equal parental leave, to support millions of Italian families with five months paid at 100% for both parents.”
