In her address, according to a statement from Palazzo Chigi, Meloni once again extended her warmest congratulations to President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian people on behalf of the Italian Government on the occasion of the national holiday, reaffirming Italy’s unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence. She also expressed her deep sympathy for the suffering caused by the ongoing Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure.
