Milan, Aug. 28 (LaPresse) – “The League has a bill ready to halt new Islamic facilities in Italy until a new national framework law is approved and an agreement with the Italian state is defined that guarantees full respect for our laws, our values and our rules.” The League said this in a statement. “Regarding the case of Venice, the League’s lawyers are working to report to public security authorities the serious threats of wildcat blockades announced by members of the Islamic community,” the statement continues, according to which Deputy Prime Minister and party leader “Matteo Salvini will soon be in Venice to reiterate the League’s opposition to the mosque: no backing down in the face of threats and blackmail.”
