Cernobbio (Como), Sept. 5 (LaPresse) – “Today the EU has fully sided with Ukraine, but over the past six months we have increased gas imports from Russia, thereby financing the war economy that we would instead like to fight by siding with Ukraine.” Roberto Vannacci, leader of Futuro Nazionale, said this while taking part in a panel with Mario Monti at the 52nd edition of the Cernobbio Forum, organized by Teha Group and currently being held at Villa d’Este on Lake Como. The forum will conclude tomorrow. “But what is the strategic consistency of financing Ukrainian resistance if we then increase gas imports from Russia?” Vannacci stressed.
