Montesilvano (Pescara), 13 Sept. (LaPresse) – “We are looking into a range of measures to ease the burden placed particularly on those in greatest difficulty. Unfortunately, what is happening is beyond our control. We have also enabled the regions to extract more oil and gas in an effort to make better use of our resources. This is what can be done.” Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani made these remarks in Montesilvano, in the province of Pescara, on the sidelines of the Forza Italia Youth Party festival, referring to the ‘high energy costs’ and emphasising that “a single European market is needed, which would bring prices down in the future as well. It is a truly complicated situation; we hope the war will come to an end,” he concluded.
