Education, Mattarella: “Let’s start afresh from our wounds; Amatrice, Arquata and Norcia – capitals of Italy”

Rome, 21 September (LaPresse) – “Starting afresh from this beautiful rebuilt school, from Amatrice, from Arquata del Tronto, from Norcia, from all the places struck by the earthquake ten years ago, and from the deep wounds suffered by these communities, conveys just how important it is for us to start afresh. Amatrice, Arquata del Tronto and Norcia, on this first day of term, are the capitals of Italy, emphasising the central importance of the reconstruction process and our duty and determination to share its hopes and prospects.” So said the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, speaking during the ceremony to mark the start of the school year in Amatrice.
