When will it take place, and what will the timetable and procedures be? There are still many months to go, but I’m in. I care about this city; it’s my home, and I think there’s a lot to be done. This city needs change – real change.” Mario Calabresi made these remarks on Radio24 ahead of the 2027 local elections in Milan. “So, I believe this city needs to be listened to, and the sense of unease that exists needs to be addressed. Because it is a city that, on the one hand, works very well, moves at breakneck speed and is full of light; yet the city is not a showcase, it is a community of citizens,” the journalist went on to emphasise.
