Russia, Tajani: ‘No cause for alarm over drones targeting Italy – the reports are unfounded’

Rome, 26 Sept. (LaPresse) – “There is no alert regarding Russian attacks. These reports are completely unfounded.” This was clarified by the Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, on the sidelines of his visit to ‘Il villaggio della legalità’ in Rome’s Finocchio neighbourhood, following rumours about a CIA report concerning a possible Russian drone attack on European countries, including Italy. “Another issue,” the Foreign Minister pointed out, “is hybrid warfare and cyber-attacks, because those do exist. But we have no information whatsoever about drones that could be used against Italy by the Russian armed forces. Absolutely not.”
