By-elections: Roscioli elected with 51 per cent of the vote in Reggio Calabria; FnV comes close to 11 per cent

Milan, 28 September (LaPresse) – Fabio Roscioli of Forza Italia, the centre-right candidate, has won the by-election for the single-member constituency of Reggio Calabria in the Chamber of Deputies. Following the count across all 487 polling stations, Roscioli secured 51.02 per cent of the vote, compared with 36.59 per cent for Frank Benedetto, who was standing for the PD, M5S and Casa Riformista. Domenico Giannetta, the candidate for Futuro Nazionale con Vannacci, came close to 11 per cent (10.94 per cent), whilst Francesco Toscano (Democrazia Sovrana Popolare) secured 1.44 per cent.
