Anti-Semitism Bill: Committee gives green light for debate in the Chamber; PD abstains from vote

Rome, 30 Sept. (LaPresse) – The Chamber of Deputies’ Constitutional Affairs Committee has approved the anti-Semitism bill by a majority, voting to appoint Paolo Emilio Russo of Forza Italia as rapporteur. The PD and Più Europa did not take part in the vote; Iv and Azione voted in favour, whilst the M5S and Avs voted against. The bill is expected to reach the Chamber on Friday for the start of the general debate.
