Milan, 30 Sept. (LaPresse) – What will happen if there is a vote against the electoral law? “It seems to me that Giorgia Meloni has been clear. If the bill does not pass, we go home. That is why the motion of confidence was tabled.” So said Galeazzo Bignami, leader of the Fratelli d’Italia group in the Chamber of Deputies, in an interview with ‘Il Tempo’. On the point that there will be votes – such as the one on preliminary rulings on constitutionality – where a vote of confidence cannot be tabled, Bignami replied: “Of course, but the reasoning remains the same. Tomorrow’s vote on the preliminary rulings is just as important as the vote of confidence. Some might think otherwise, but they are mistaken. If the bill is held up by the preliminary rulings, the consequences would be the same. We’ll be going home.”
