And they are asking us to consider organising a demonstration together specifically on the cost of living, wages and social justice, and we are on board. “We are absolutely open to this because they are right when they say that the joint programme we must now refine and finalise – which draws on many shared proposals – will be even more effective if we bring it to life by linking it to the strong demand in parts of the country to improve people’s living conditions.” So said PD Secretary Elly Schlein on the sidelines of the PD’s national assembly.
