Rome, 20 Oct. (LaPresse) – “We condemn the destruction that has taken place in Milan; it is unacceptable, whilst it remains clear that responsibility for public order lies with this government, which cannot shift the blame onto others. But here we have a country facing truly dire economic and social conditions; they cannot fail to heed the cries of the students, the farmers, the lorry drivers, the fishermen and the livestock farmers. The outcry is particularly loud in the south, but also in the north. What is the government saying about this? Is the only answer it can give fourteen and a half billion in new additional defence spending? And is that the only solution?” So said M5S leader Giuseppe Conte on the sidelines of an event in Rome.
