Rome, 28 Oct. (LaPresse) – Regarding the decree to reduce the cost of electricity and gas for households and businesses, which was on the agenda of the Council of Ministers but whose consideration was subsequently postponed, “there are neither funding issues nor problems with the European Commission. There are issues relating to certain technical checks that have been recommended to us, partly due to the number of measures brought before the Council of Ministers today. It will be discussed at the next Council of Ministers meeting; it is merely a postponement of a few days.” So said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at a press conference following the Council of Ministers meeting.
