Tennis, ATP Indian Wells: Berrettini and Musetti advance to the third round

Rome, March 8 (LaPresse) – Matteo Berrettini advances to the third round of the Indian Wells Masters 1000. The Italian, seeded 28th, defeated Australian Christopher O'Connell, ranked 75th in the world, in two sets with a score of 6-2, 7-6. Lorenzo Musetti also advances. The Carrara native, seeded 15th, had to fight through three sets to overcome Russian Roman Safiullin. In the next round, Berrettini will face Stefanos Tsitsipas, while Musetti will meet Arthur Fils.
