Champions: Bayern to Face Inter in Quarter-Finals, PSG Advances Thanks to Donnarumma. Liverpool Eliminated

Milan, March 11 (LaPresse) – Bayern Munich will be Inter's opponent in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The Bavarian team secured a 2-0 victory in the German derby against Bayer Leverkusen, following up on their 3-0 first-leg win. Bayern's goals were scored by Kane in the 52nd minute and Davies in the 71st.

Meanwhile, a shocking result at Anfield Road: Liverpool, dominant in the group stage, is already out in the Round of 16. Paris Saint-Germain pulled off the upset, winning 5-1 on penalties thanks to a stellar Gigio Donnarumma, who saved two spot-kicks and became the hero of the night.

After Liverpool's 1-0 win in the first leg, the French side secured a 1-0 victory at Anfield, with a goal from Dembélé. During extra time, PSG had several chances to score, but the match was decided in a penalty shootout. Vitinha, Ramos, Dembélé, and the young Doué converted their penalties for PSG. Liverpool's only scorer was Salah, as both Darwin Núñez and Curtis Jones were denied by Donnarumma.

Luis Enrique’s PSG surprisingly qualifies for the quarter-finals, where they will now face either Aston Villa or Club Brugge, with the English side having won 3-1 in Belgium in the first leg.
