Munich (Germany), March 13 (LaPresse/AP) – After lengthy negotiations, Joshua Kimmich has signed a new four-year contract with Bayern Munich, extending his stay until 2029. The midfielder, who has been with the club since 2015, explained that he decided to renew his contract because Bayern offers him "the best environment to achieve my sporting goals. I feel good here, and I’m not done yet."
Kimmich, who also captains the German national team, follows recent contract renewals by Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies, and Manuel Neuer, all announced in recent months.
