Rome, Apr 4 (LaPresse) – Giovanni Franzoni did not go down from the tricolour podium and after conquering the overall Italian title in super-G and the silver medal in downhill, the Italian athlete of Fiamme Gialle dominated the scene also in the giant slalom of Absolute Italian Championships held on Mediolanum slope of Alpe Lusia, in Val di Fassa (Trentino). The best time in both heats allowed the 23-year-old from Manerba sul Garda to stop the stopwatch at 2'14‘26 and dig a gap of 1’31 over Tommaso Saccardi from Parma (Carabinieri) and Davide Seppi from Trentino (Fiamme Gialle), who took silver in a tie behind him.
