Pope Leo XIV welcomes the Napoli Campione d'Italia: "Team victory, you are welcome"

"Winning the championship is a goal that is reached at the end of a long journey, where what matters most is not the feat of once, or the extraordinary performance of a champion. The championship is won by the team, and when I say 'team' I mean both the players, the coach with the whole team, and the sports club. So I am happy to welcome you now, to highlight this aspect of your success which I consider the most important". Prevost then joked with those present about the indiscretions of some press about his alleged support for Roma. "Perhaps you did not want to applaud because the press says that I am romanista.
