Born in 2003, the right-back has made over 100 first-team appearances for the Rio de Janeiro-based club and participated in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025. On March 20, 2025, Wesley also made his debut for the Brazilian senior national team in a 2-1 win against Colombia.
