Rome, 25 September (LaPresse) – Scare for Carlos Alcaraz in his opening match at the ATP 500 in Tokyo against Sebastian Baez. In the fifth game of the first set, at 2-2, the Spaniard suffered a problem with his left ankle after a change of direction. Lying on the ground in pain for several minutes, Alcaraz continued the match after receiving medical treatment and with a conspicuous bandage on his ankle. The Spaniard is now leading the match 5-4.
