Beijing, Oct. 4 (LaPresse) – Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini have reached the doubles final of the China Open, the penultimate WTA 1000 tournament of the season, with a prize pool of $8,963,700, held on the hard courts of the Olympic Green Tennis Centre in Beijing (combined with an ATP 500 event). In the semifinals, Errani and Paolini defeated Taiwanese Hsieh Su-wei and Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, sixth in the Race to Riyadh, 6-4, 6-0. The Italian duo, defending champions, will face Japanese Miyu Kato and Hungarian Fanny Stollar in the final, who advanced after Czech Karolina Muchova and Australian Priscilla Hon withdrew.
