Milan, Oct. 11 (LaPresse) – Monaco has announced the arrival of Sébastien Pocognoli as new manager. The 38-year-old Belgian coach succeeds Adi Hütter, dismissed on Friday. He is coming from Union Saint-Gilloise, with whom he won the Belgian championship last season, his first professional coaching experience. A release clause of about 1 million euros was included in his contract – reports L’Equipe – making his move easier for the Ligue 1 club. Former left-back who played in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and England, Pocognoli has signed with the Principality club until June 2027.
