Golf, endless ordeal for Tiger Woods: operated again on his back

Milan, Oct 12 (LaPresse) – An endless ordeal for Tiger Woods, forced to undergo a seventh back surgery. Woods revealed he had been experiencing pain and limited mobility, explaining that “tests showed a collapsed disc at L4/5, disc fragments, and a compromised spinal canal.” He then “decided to have the disc replaced yesterday and I already know I made a good decision for my health and my back.” The surgery took place at a clinic in New York. This is his second back surgery in the last 13 months and the seventh in total since April 2014. Woods also underwent surgery in March for a torn left Achilles tendon. He has not played since the PNC Championship with his son Charlie last December.
