Rome, 21 October (LaPresse) – Napoli suffered a heavy defeat in the Netherlands, where Antonio Conte’s men were beaten 6-2 by PSV Eindhoven on matchday three of the Champions League group stage. The Azzurri took the lead in the 31st minute through McTominay, but just four minutes later the hosts equalised thanks to an own goal by Buongiorno. In the 38th minute, the Dutch doubled their lead with Saibari. In the 54th minute, Man scored the third goal for PSV and then scored a brace in the 80th minute. In between, in the 76th minute, Lucca was sent off. In the 86th minute, McTominay temporarily reduced the deficit. But just a minute later, Pepi made it 5-2. Three minutes later, Driouech beat Milinkovic Savic from distance, setting the final score at 6-2. For Napoli, who remain on three points in the standings, this is their second defeat in the Champions League after the one against City.
