Rome, Oct. 21 (LaPresse) – An excellent Inter beat Union Saint-Gilloise 4-0 away in the third matchday of the first phase of the Champions League. The Nerazzurri took the lead in the 41st minute with Dumfries controlling Bisseck’s cross and beating the opposing goalkeeper. In the 46th minute, Lautaro Martinez doubled the lead, assisted by Pio Esposito. The third goal came in the 53rd minute with a penalty kick scored by Calhanoglu after a handball by Kamiel Van De Perre was penalized following a VAR review. Pio Esposito closed the scoring in the 76th minute. Inter moves up to nine points in the group standings, remaining in first place.
