Football: Messi renews contract with Inter Miami, staying with the club until 2027

Fort Lauderdale (Florida, United States), 23 October (LaPresse/AP) – Lionel Messi has signed a contract extension with Inter Miami, the MLS team he has been playing for since 2023. The extension concludes months of negotiations with the Argentine star and comes on the eve of the Miami team’s playoff debut (against Nashville), seeded third in the Eastern Conference. The details of the agreement have not yet been disclosed, but Inter Miami is said to have pushed for a renewal until at least 2027.
