Milan, Oct. 24 (LaPresse/AP) – Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups left the federal court in Portland late Thursday afternoon after being released. The former NBA player and champion is accused of illegal betting in a major investigation that also involves the Italian-American Mafia. A group of journalists followed him along the block from the courthouse to a black SUV waiting for him. He showed no emotion as he walked down the street. He did not respond to numerous questions from the press before being taken away.
