Houston, on the other hand, suffered another defeat, losing at home to the Pistons in the final minutes. San Antonio won after overtime in New Orleans, and the Heat, with Simone Fontecchio playing excellently, overwhelmed Memphis. The Knicks won decisively against the Celtics, while Golden State fell in Portland. Dallas suffered a surprise defeat, losing at home to Washington.
