At the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Los Blancos took the lead through Mbappé in the 22nd minute, with the Catalans equalising through Fermin Lopez in the 38th minute and Bellingham scoring at the end of the first half. In the second half, Mbappé missed a penalty in the 52nd minute, saved by Szczesny. Pedri was sent off for a second yellow card. Real now has 27 points, with Barca trailing by 5 points.
