Milan-Cortina: CONI confirms Paris 2024 prizes, €180,000 for gold

Milan, 29 October (LaPresse) – CONI confirms the amount of the prizes for medals at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympic Games, as those for Paris 2024. Therefore, the prize for the gold medal will be €180,000, for silver €90,000 and for bronze €60,000. This was announced during a press conference after the CONI Council meeting at the Triennale di Milano, 100 days before the Winter Games. CONI then pointed out that the Minister for Sport and Youth, Abodi, has already announced the tax exemption of prizes for athletes and that “we just have to wait for a few bureaucratic steps to be completed”.
