ATP Finals: Musetti faces an uphill battle if Auger-Aliassime reaches the final in Paris

Rome, 31 October (LaPresse) – Lorenzo Musetti’s race to qualify for the ATP Finals is becoming increasingly difficult. Felix Auger-Aliassime’s arrival in the semi-finals of the ATP in Paris increases the Canadian’s chances of overtaking the player from Carrara, currently number 8 in the rankings. Musetti currently occupies eighth place with 3,685 points after losing in the second round on the hard courts of the French capital to Lorenzo Sonego. Auger-Aliassime is close behind with 3,595 points, with the possibility of overtaking him if he reaches the final (3,845) and the chance to mathematically secure his place in the Finals if he wins.
