Rome, Nov. 1 (LaPresse) – First match and first win for Luciano Spalletti’s Juventus, who beat Cremonese 2-1 away. The Bianconeri took the lead after just 90 seconds of the first half with Kostic, who capitalized on a poor defensive deflection following Openda’s backheel. The second goal came in the 68th minute when Conceicao broke down the right and crossed into the middle; once again, a defender’s touch turned into an assist, and this time Cambiaso pounced to beat Audero. In the final minutes, Vardy pulled one back trying to spark a comeback for Cremonese, but Juve managed to hold on to their lead.
