Rome, 2 Nov. (LaPresse) – An own goal by Martin Frese in the 94th minute gave Inter a last-gasp victory at the ‘Bentegodi’ against Hellas Verona. The match seems to immediately go downhill for the Nerazzurri who take the lead in the 16th minute with Zielinski (now started by Chivu who made a large turnover) but are joined in the 40th minute by a young player. In the second half the Nerazzurri were not very brilliant. The turning point was in the middle of injury time: Frese tried to head a cross from Barella but ended up sending it into his own goal. With today’s victory, Inter provisionally closes Roma on 21 points, leads Milan (but the Giallorossi and Rossoneri will play in tonight’s postponement) and brings Napoli closer. Hellas remains on five points.
