Milan, 3 November (LaPresse) – ‘Conte? I don’t want to respond to that, it’s not appropriate for me to revisit that discussion.’ That was how Inter president Beppe Marotta responded to Napoli coach Antonio Conte’s comments on refereeing controversies in recent league matches as he left the Serie A League meeting at the VAR centre in Lissone. ‘He is free to say these things, of course, if there is respect and democracy, everyone can express their opinion. You may not agree, but that’s fine,’ he added.
Football, Marotta: ‘Conte? If there is respect, he can say whatever he wants.’
