Rome, 30 November (LaPresse) – In Sunday’s lunchtime match on the 13th day of Serie A, Lecce beat Torino 2-1. Everything happened in two minutes in the first half: in the 20th minute, Lecce took the lead with Coulibaly and doubled their advantage in the 22nd minute with Banda. Torino were unlucky in the 38th minute when Niels Nkounkou hit the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Torino reduced the deficit with Vlasic. In the 90th minute, there was a chance to equalise: referee Mariani awarded Torino a penalty after consulting VAR for a foul by Morente on Coco from a corner. Asllani stepped up to take the penalty, but his shot was saved by Falcone. With this victory, Lecce moves up to 13 points, extending their lead over the relegation zone. Torino remains on 14 points.
