F1, Norris: “Team order between us at McLaren? I would be happy”

Rome, Dec. 4 (LaPresse) – “Team orders between us at McLaren if necessary? We haven’t discussed it and honestly I would be happy about it. But I don’t think I would ask for it; it would be up to Oscar to decide. Likewise, in the opposite case, I would be willing to do it.” This is what Lando Norris, McLaren driver and F1 World Championship leader, said on the eve of the Abu Dhabi GP, the last race of the season. “I like Piastri’s calmness, he’s very cool. It’s something I’ve often wished I could resemble more. But the most important thing is to get along, and I’ve always managed that with my teammates. And the same goes with Oscar; I’m happy with how we work together and our relationship off the track as well. Not everyone will agree, but that’s how it is,” he added.
