Rome, 5 December (LaPresse) – At the European Short Course Championships, currently underway in Lublin, Poland, Italy’s Thomas Ceccon won gold in the 100m backstroke. He won in 49.27 seconds, with France’s Newen Tomac coming second in 49.46 seconds and Britain’s Oliver Morgan taking bronze in 49.68 seconds. Lorenzo Mora came fifth in 49.95 seconds.
