The Red Bull driver clocked a time of 1’22″207, ahead of the McLarens of Lando Norris, the World Championship leader with a 14-point lead over the Dutchman, and Oscar Piastri. George Russell (Mercedes) was fourth, ahead of Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari.
