The reigning champions, even without their leader, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, out due to injury, won their 23rd game in 24, their 15th in a row, crushing the Utah Jazz 131-101 and setting a new franchise record. Chet Holmgren had an excellent game, nearly achieving a double-double with 25 points and 9 rebounds. Lebron James and Luka Doncic’s Lakers also won. The Los Angeles franchise beat the Philadelphia 76ers 112-108 with a triple-double from the Slovenian, who scored 31 points, 11 assists and 15 rebounds.
