Milan, Dec. 9 (LaPresse) – Good news for Napoli coach Antonio Conte ahead of the end of 2025, during which the Azzurri will be engaged in the league, Champions League, and Super Cup. In this morning’s training session, ahead of the Champions League match against Jose Mourinho’s Benfica, Romelu Lukaku was back with the group.
As shown in Sky’s footage, the Belgian striker is running with the team under the watchful eyes of coach Conte and sporting director Giovanni Manna. Lukaku is training for the first time since August 14, following a long layoff due to a serious muscle injury that forced him to miss the entire first part of the season. This is a first taste of training for the Belgian, who will not be available for the trip to Lisbon but could finally return to Serie A matches in the coming weeks.
