Football: Serie A, Genoa-Inter 1-2, Nerazzurri top the table

Rome, 14 December (LaPresse) – Inter beat Genoa 2-1 at Marassi and take the lead in the table. Chivu’s men start off on the right foot and take the lead in the 6th minute with Bisseck scoring from the edge of the box. In the 38th minute, Lautaro doubles the lead, again with a shot from the edge of the box. It seemed to be over, but in the 68th minute, a great play by Vitinha brought Genoa back to 1-2. In the final minutes, the Ligurians tried to find the equaliser, but Inter defended well. The Nerazzurri climb to 33 points in the standings, overtaking Napoli (31) and Milan (32). Genoa remains stuck on 14 points, tied with Cagliari and Parma.
