Rome, Dec. 31 (LaPresse) – Gianmarco Pozzecco is the new head coach of Galatasaray Istanbul until June 2027. The former coach of the Italian national team returns to the bench after his brief experience with Asvel Villeurbanne while serving as Italy’s head coach. The Turkish team currently sits in seventh place in the national championship with a 7–6 record. Pozzecco replaces Yakup Sekizkok and will lead the team in the Besiktas derby on January 10.
